National Legal Mentoring Consortium Conference

The National Legal Mentoring Consortium, a newly formed organization, is holding a conference on mentoring at the University of St. Thomas Law School in Minneapolis, October 4-6, 2012. I am on the Executive Committee of the NLMC and will deliver the keynote address on “Mentoring as a Way to Improve Gender Equity in the Legal Profession.” Details and registration information appear on the Consortium’s website.

2012 San Francisco Roundtable on Women’s Initiatives in Large Firms

On February 24, 2012, I will facilitate a roundtable discussion about the findings of the new, first-ever National Survey of Women’s Initiatives, conducted by the NAWL Foundation. Stephanie Scharf, designer of the NAWL Foundation Survey, as well as a lawyer and social psychologist, will kick off the discussion by presenting key findings from this research.
